I also figured out how to make a chevron background...I am aspiring to make graphics as well as products for teachers. I got the product thing down...I have a ways to go for the graphics thing though. I had lots of airplane time to figure this chevron thing out...I've seen better, but I'm still proud!
I am currently making some writing process posters/ writers' notebook stuff so I can use my new background. I think another big challenge I will face is putting a bunch of different graphics into a zip file...I don't want to even think about that yet! Thank God for other awesome bloggers who post tutorials...I'm hoping someone will come through with me when it comes time to zip files (is that even the right terminology??!!)
So while last week I wasn't feeling like I've accomplished a whole lot this summer, today I feel more positive! I finished some Back to School stuff and uploaded it to my TpT store so go ahead and check it out and let me know what you think.
There's exciting things happening over here!!!

I think zipping is pretty easy but I can't remember the last time I did it, I'm sure it is different on a Mac but I think on a PC you just put them in a folder and right click and click zip files. You should try out Pixelmator for Mac. You can also get a free 30 day trial and when you want to buy it, it's only 35 or 30 dollars. I was reading reviews and while not AS good as Photoshop, the reviews say it does anything an average person would need. I can't figure out how to do a thing, but since you've been using Photoshop maybe you can. To do the link, click the picture and click link...nothing happens, it is stupid, then click the picture and click link again. Now you can put in the link.

I have been using Photoshop Elements for years. Last summer I bought a few books to help me, but I hardly ever use them. I watch lots of tutorials online and just play around with the program. I do all my digital papers with it. Once you have a set you like just place them all into a folder. Then click on the folder and find Compress Folder. That is what my Mac says :)

Thank you for the advice!! When I get to that point I will try it out....I LOVE your blog- super cute! Makes me miss the beach (though for me the closest is Galveston...not as pretty as Hawaii!)
